Audrey Rutherford, M.D., received her Doctorate of Medicine and went on to successfully complete her Dermatology Residency at UT Southwestern Dallas, one of the few dermatology programs consistently rated as one of the top five training institutions in the country. Dr. Rutherford is dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and management of both common & complex dermatologic conditions. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, melasma, rosacea, acne, psoriasis, women’s dermatologic conditions, warts, & also complex medical dermatologic conditions such as lichen planus and blistering disorders. Dr. Rutherford’s research during medical training focused on dermatological issues specifically affecting women’s gynecological health. She is an active member of several international societies dedicated to studying and treating these devastating dermatologic conditions. Dr. Rutherford is also an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is an expertly trained dermatologic surgeon with experience in skin cancer excisions, as well as the removal of benign growths such as cysts and lipomas. She is a talented cosmetic practitioner providing services such as Botox®/Dysport® and hyaluronic acid fillers. Dr. Rutherford grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. She obtained her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin, earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the renowned McCombs School of Business, and graduated as an Acclaimed College Scholar. Outside of medicine, Dr. Rutherford enjoys adventuring in the great outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family.
